Eagles Sign Lineman Stacy Andrews to a 6-Year Deal

As 12:01 A.M. hit on Febuary 27th the Eagles still did not re-sign tackles Jon Runyan and Tra Thomas, meaning offensive line help was a need for the birds to get. That is exactly what they did, signing Bengals lineman Stacy Andrews to a 6 year deal to come in here and is projected to play RT for the Eagles. If true then the signing means that Tackle Jon Runyan’s career with the Eagles is in doubt. Stacy Andrews, who is the older brother of Shawn Andrews is excited about  about the opportunity to play on the same team as his younger brother.  Shawn is also excited about the opportunity.

“If we both manage to play on the right side, then we could probably build the Great Wall of Philadelphia,” Shawn Andrews said.

Stacy is coming off knee surgery from last season where he torn he acl. He isn’t sure but optimistic about being ready come training camp.

“I’m really not sure,” he said. “I’m just looking forward to getting in and rehabbing and getting better. I’m walking fine and feeling great.”
